ETHIOPIA "Oromiyaa" - Sidamo Guji Grade 1, Light Medium Roast
The Guji region of Sidamo, where our beans come from, is one of the world's most revered coffee growing areas. Guji is named after a tribe of the Oromo people, and "Oromiyaa" is one of the nine ethnically based regional states of Ethiopia. This beautiful, single-origin coffee grown in their amazingly fertile soil features a relatively small bean and is known for its deep spice and fruit, lemony or cocoa-like taste and aroma. Today, key producing regions include Harar, Sidamo, Yirgacheffe (in Sidamo), Limu, Djimmah, Lekempti and Bebeka. Ethiopia produces a wide range of coffee with each region’s beans having very distinctive characteristics. These beans are some of the best and most popular in the world.
